Things every Website should do

1.

Bring customers to you

Engage them to either shop online, visit your business, or call and actually spend money, while making the sales process more efficient

2.

Make you look “larger than life”

To position you for other opportunities, which helps your business to grow.

3.

Be viewable on EVERY device

Not just desktop & laptops (clients at the office), but on tablets & smartphones (on the go). 80% of e-mails are opened on smartphones, and half  of internet searches are on mobile devices!

Grow your business

The challenge for most, is looking “larger than life” to show clients you’d LIKE TO HAVE that you can handle their size and scope. That means Best Practices to choose the right platform, have better content, and build for content and site design longevity.

The other challenge is how look like your bigger competitors without spending THEIR BUDGET. For that we use the Pareto Principle (the 80/20 Rule) to select the 80% of features that are most important, and find ways to develop that for 20% of your competitors’ budget.

For many businesses you need to convert visitors to prospects into clients. We call that moving them “from hello to go” for “from hi to buy”. A good user interface (the buzzwords these days are “UI” and “UX”, for user experience) helps move them along this path. without clutter or confusion.

Customers need to find you when they search for BUSINESSES LIKE YOU on Google, Bing, Alexa, or Siri. You need to create & manage content to drive “organic search” traffic to the pages that should MATTER MOST to them, and guides them to a buying decision.

Design for a purpose

Websites For All Devices

Good design means that websites should be “Responsive” which means they work on phones, tablets, laptops and desktops. Responsive websites automatically adjust to all sorts of page or screen widths, all sorts of resolutions, and running many different web browsers.

These days, Responsive Design optimizes images, type, and navigation for different devices, but requires that each page of content work for all devices.

These days, many smartphones and tablets have 1000 to 3000 pixels across, rivalling the capabilities of large desktop monitors. But they need to be navigable with a finger-top (a centimeter square) not a mouse-click (accurate to 1 pixel)

The website needs to create excitement, that when users visit your website, they want to explore. At the same time we want them to find what they are looking for quickly, and move them to a call to action.. Whether that is an online purchase, phoning you, completing an online form, or visiting your store or office.

Our “Zero Maintenance” Website Design Philosophy

Our high standard of service and professionalism is built around our “Zero Maintenance Design Philosophy.” We study your business problems, and match your challenge with the appropriate technology. Our experience helps us to foresee growth issues, to design a site that doesn’t need rebuilding as your business grows.

The site is designed to reduce ongoing effort and maintenance, all the while speeding initial development. This reduces your ongoing site maintenance effort (and cost) while achieving the results you are expecting. We realize your business is what you do best, and any time spent on your website is time away from your customers,

Off-the-shelf tools reduce programming costs (and also on-going maintenance), and simple templates or web forms are used to update data (we even train your staff to self-maintain the web site), so you gain control on your total Internet project costs.

Our Value Proposition for YOUR Website Design

Fixed project pricing

Only inexperienced consultants need to bill by the hour. When’s the last time you heard of a home builder doing that?

Disclose “other” costs

Our proposals give clear, no-surprises disclosure, and we can help you negotiate hosting, web marketing, software licensing, and site maintenance costs.

No surprises

Why hire specialist consultants if they cannot foresee all the complications.
